Open House is an equal opportunity event. Residents
of any structure used for the purpose of domestic living (i.e. house,
apartment, motorhome, etc.) can apply to host an event. Additionally,
Open House events welcome whoever wishes to enter and participate.
Residents waive the right to regulate access of potential participants. FS agents will work closely with residents in the
event planning and management. FS agents will provide and facilitate
all of the necessary elements to ensure the success of the event.
This includes invitations, refreshments, guest list suggestions and
management, promotion, and event hosting and post event clean up.
Open House event promotions are designed to target
three participant groups: family, friends, and neighbors of the residents,
FS client mailing list, and those drawn by real estate-styled signage
in the immediate area, who are unknown to FS agents, residents, and
already present participants. To ensure the
success of the event, FS agents suggest a minimum of two month planning
time. During this time, FS agents will come out to the proposed location
to discuss the event preparations. Residents hosting an Open House cannot hold Finishing School or its agents responsible for loss or damage of property that occurs in connection with an Open House event.
